INgene® q C. fetus and T. foetus MULTIPLEX is a real-time PCR kit for the detection of C. fetus and T. foetus DNA in biological samples from Cattle. The assay is optimized for samples like reproductive secretions, preputial and vaginal/endocervical flushings, semen, placenta, fetal tissues and strains/vaccines. The kit consists on a multiplex real-time PCR in one-well format, detecting C. fetus in FAM channel and T. foetus in HEX/VIC channel. In addition, the mix includes and Endogenous control (EC) that is amplified in Cy5, allowing identification of false negatives due to poor extraction and/or PCR inhibition.
